JOB TITLE:
ACCOUNTING AND RETAIL OFFICER - RO Desalination, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Pool Service and Retail Operations
DESCRIPTION:
The Accounting Officer is responsible for performing a range of financial and clerical duties to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This includes processing invoices, managing accounts receivable and payable, payroll administration, reconciliations, and other key accounting functions. Additionally, this role serves as a Relief Retail Sales Officer, assisting in the store as needed to ensure smooth retail operations.
REPORTING LINES:
Accounting Supervisor / Operations Manager / Managing Director
KEY DUTIES/AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Handle accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and ABST payments.
· Process supplier invoices, payments, and financial reports.
· Maintain accurate financial records and support audits.
· Assist with customer inquiries, sales transactions, and inventory management.
· Manage correspondence, CRM systems, and office supplies.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and contribute to process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS / SOFT & TECHNICAL SKILLS:
· Minimum ACCA Level 1 certification or a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance and retail
· Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite
· Knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation, financial reporting, and Antigua’s tax laws (preferred)
· Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
· High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to multitask under deadlines

WORKING HOURS:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
