Role Description:
The OM will be responsible for organisational efficiency of the company, managing all aspects of the organisations HR, IT,Finance, Warehousing and Inventory Management, Service departments and Retail Store, helping and creating organisational plans and program budgets, and setting and overseeing productivity goals with all departments in collaboration with the MD and other misc. tasks.
Working with the management team, the position contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices.
Duties/Areas of Responsibility:
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organisations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organisational planning with regards to timelines and deadlines
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.
Control invoicing to funding sources, including calculation of completed units of service.
Payroll management, including tabulation of accrued employee benefits.
Supervise and coach supervisory staff on a daily basis.
Responsibilities by Function
Financial Management
Direct annual budgeting and planning process for the organisations annual budget with MD
Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organisations financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals. Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting.
Managing day to day processing of accounts receivable and payable using Peachtree, producing reports as requested.
Reconciling monthly activity, generating year-end reports, and fulfilling tax related requirements.
Assisting Managing Director in creating annual organisational budget and monitoring cash flow.
Prepare annual audit and be a liaison with all outside vendors.
Organizational Effectiveness
Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functions.
Drive initiatives in the management team and organisationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
Customer Service
Oversee and improve customer relationships
Handle (and prevent) customer escalations
Assist in expanding customer base
Sales & Marketing
Oversee the Development and execution of marketing plans to increase retail sales.
Manage marketing budget
Qualifications
MUST BE BASED in ANTIGUA and Barbuda – This is NOT a remote opportunity and no expat package.

Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook… Sage is a plus.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Knowledge and experience in organisational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.
Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
